As the sport expands rapidly into new communities, schools, and public spaces, The Padel Pledge brings together organisations from across the padel ecosystem around a shared commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and long-term impact.

Founded by people working within the UK padel industry, The Padel Pledge is an independent, industry-led initiative designed to ensure growth benefits not just the game, but the people and communities around it.

We believe padel’s success should be measured not only by the number of courts built, but by who can access them, who feels welcome to play, and how the sport reinvests in its future.

Independence & Integrity

The Padel Pledge operates independently of any single brand, venue, or commercial interest.

All contributions made through The Padel Pledge Fund are directed toward initiatives that improve access to padel, including schools, youth programmes, charities, and community groups. Reinvestment in the sport happens through funding, equipment, facilities, or coaching support.

Transparency, accountability, and impact sit at the centre of how The Padel Pledge operates.

The Padel Pledge was founded by two people working directly within the UK padel ecosystem, bringing together commercial experience, community focus, and a shared belief that the sport’s growth should benefit everyone.

Tom is actively embedded in the padel community, with deep insight into how the sport is played, accessed, and experienced at grassroots level. His involvement spans clubs, players, and local communities, giving the Padel Pledge a practical understanding of where support is most needed.

Freddy works across growth, strategy, and digital infrastructure for brands operating in emerging and fast-growing sectors. Through his work in padel, he has seen first-hand how quickly the sport is expanding, and how easily access, affordability, and grassroots participation can be overlooked.
