The Padel Pledge.png

To accelerate the growth of padel in the UK by uniting the industry around a shared commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and long-term impact. The Padel Pledge brings brands, businesses, and communities together to break down barriers, broaden  participation, and build a more sustainable future for
the sport.

Pledge
Commitments

Signatories of The Padel Pledge agree to four areas of action:

1 / Accessibility for All

Make padel accessible to everyone—regardless of ability, background, or income. This includes:

  • Supporting adapted facilities for people with disabilities

  • Creating beginner-friendly opportunities for all ages and skill levels

  • Improving access in regions where padel is currently underrepresented

2 / Inclusive Participation

Drive outreach and reduce cost barriers for underserved groups, including:

  • Schoolchildren in low-income areas

  • Ethnic minority communities and women

  • First-time players with no prior racket sport experience

3 / Give Back to the Game

Reinvest in the sport to fuel awareness and grassroots participation. Signatories will:

  • Support free coaching, equipment, or court time for those who need it most

  • Contribute financially or in-kind to initiatives like the Padel Pledge Fund

  • Collaborate on campaigns that bring padel to new audiences

4 / Sustainable Growth

Build the future of padel responsibly by committing to:

  • Sustainable construction of courts and clubs (low-emission materials, local sourcing)

  • Noise-conscious planning to protect local communities

  • Waste reduction and environmentally friendly operations

Padel Pledge Fund

The Padel Pledge Fund enables the padel industry to give back - through donations of facilities, equipment, coaching time, or funding. These contributions are matched with charities, youth groups, schools, and non-profit organisations to make padel
more inclusive, accessible, and community-powered.

How the fund works

1

Organisations Pledge Support

Businesses and brands share their donation offer - whether it’s cash, coaching time, equipment, or court access - via the Padel Pledge website.

2

Beneficiaries
Apply

Community groups, schools, charities, and non-profits can register on the site to request support based on their needs.

3

We Make the
Match

The Padel Pledge Fund team reviews offers and applications, pairing donations with suitable recipients. If no match is available immediately, we actively seek out groups who could benefit.
